Russian Robin Williams? I am so pleased with this. I probably wouldn’t expect anyone in New York to help me escape from Soviet Russia, but it is still a very lovely movie. It’s quirky and silly; however, I think says a lot about how Americans take their choices for granted.
I love that Vladimir takes any opportunity he can get, appreciates the things he doesn’t understand, and is all around adorable. He is simple and unoffensive and yet has deep feelings about Russia and his new freedom.
